The latest addition to Newpro's PhoneSkope range arrived with us over the weekend. The new C-4 Universal Mini Adapter will fit eyepieces of width between 1.2" and 1.8" (30.48mm and 45.72mm). This makes it an ideal companion for a wide range of lower end spotting scopes, which may have narrower eyepieces than the current range of PhoneSkope C-3 dedicated adapters fit.
Nowadays, most of us do not go anywhere without our smartphone and so using PhoneSkope on your optical equipment you have an alternative lightweight and very convenient method of capturing images and videos without having to carry a camera.
The nifty gadget allows you to use your Smartphone on a scope for photography, video making or simply - a larger view! Handy stuff that add's just a couple of millimeters extra to the size of your Smartphone while at the same time naturally allowing you to use all the normal functions of your device. The added benefit of course, if your a 'social media' person - you can upload images/video etc direct to your twitter, facebook of google+ account's at a touch of a button. Neat.
